River Raisin National Battlefield

Please visit the National Park commemorating the Battle of the River Raisin.

The park is located on East Elm Avenue, north of the River Raisin and west of I-75.

Construction has begun on a new visitor center.

Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield

The Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield also has a web page that tells the story of the battle that took place on the physical site of the actual battle.

The site offers a rich history of the life and times of settlers to our area.

Old Mill Museum

Dundee, Michigan is rich in history.  That history is on display at the Old Mill Museum.  The museum is located on Toledo Street just east of the River Raisin.

St. John Lutheran Church, Dundee, Michigan

Saint John's Lutheran Church is in an established neighborhood in historic Dundee, Michigan.  It is located at 460 Riley Street, near the western edge of town.  

It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

There is a cross mounted atop of their Norman Tower.

Country Store

The country store is a former school house which stands at the intersection of Raisinville Road and North Custer Road near the Navarre Anderson Trading Post.  It is located north of the Monroe County Fairgrounds.

It is open several weeks during the year and contains many artifacts that will have you saying, "My grandmother had one of those."
